How To Avoid Getting A Speeding Ticket

When youre driving on a highway, remember to stay within a group of other cars. This makes it much more difficult for a police officer to pick you off, as you arent speeding in front of everyone.

Be aware of your surroundings. Remember to scan the road ahead of you, looking for any places where a police officer could be hiding.

Make sure you know the speed limit of the area youre driving in. Keep a look out for any traffic signs that tell you the current speed limit.

Always keep you car in good condition. For example, if you have a tail light out, you are going to be noticed much easier by a police officer, as they are looking out for these kinds of things. Make sure you spend the few dollars it costs to keep your car in good repair.

If you do get stopped by a police officer, always be polite. If you are rude in any way they will have something else against you. Also, try not to volunteer too much information. Obviously you have to answer his questions, but dont add to muchjust answer the question.

The first question the police officer will most likely ask you is if you know why you have been stopped. At this point, you have three options to choose from.

Firstly, you can completely admit that you were speeding. The officer would appreciate this, as this is what he wants. The officer may let you off with just a warning.

The down side to answering in this way is that if youre given a speeding ticket, and admitted that you were speeding then it can and will be used against you in the court. The police officer will be taking notes on everything you say to him, so if you feel that you will definitely get a speeding ticket then you should avoid directly admit to the police officer that you were speeding.

The second option you have is to deny that you were speeding. Keep in mind that this approach is going to create some tension between you and the police officer. If you dont have a good argument to prove to the police officer that you werent speeding, he will still give you a ticket.

The upside to this, however, is if you deny speeding, you have a better chance of beating the ticket when it goes to court, because you denied speeding from the outset.

The third option you have is to neither admit nor deny the fact you were speeding. Often this approach will work best. When you are stopped and asked if you know why you were stopped act as if you dont know why. When he tells you that you were speeding, tell the officer in a calm and respectful force that you just didnt noticeand give a plausible excuse.

If you have Tinnitus then you are most probably familiar with some of the most common causes.
There is a whole list of them for you to choose from.

Only when you start to analyze the known facts and their probable consequences will the whole scope of Tinnitus start to unfold.

There can be a million reasons why you have Tinnitus. Lets take a brief look at some of the most common symptoms for tinnitus.
How many of these symptoms can you apply to yourself? Add more if you have to.

2. You are not sick and you are not mentally ill. You are being warned!
3. You will defeat tinnitus if you accept it as a part of you.

As soon as you are ready to accept that the tinnitus is a part of you, the sooner you can expect to make progress.

The power of the mind is extraordinary. Think about this carefully. If tinnitus succeeded in turning your life upside down
then accept the fact that all it used to achieve misery was your own mind. Thats quite an achievement isnt it ?
Thats how powerful your mind is. If it has the capability to make your life a complete misery then surely it can be re-programmed to do the opposite.

Its entirely up to you. The solution lies within yourself and your ability to learn.

What do we know about the causes of tinnitus?.
Where does it have its roots?

Ever heard of social sickness? Me either. Its a phrase that I like though.
Here in Germany its called Volkskrankheit ( has nothing to do with cars ).

I once tried to compile a list of all elements which I suspected may have contributed to MY own tinnitus. Obviously, I listed the negative aspects of my life over a 10 year period.
Some of these things could have been avoided, most of them were linked to each other. Dont forget, this is only a list of things that I think should be mentioned.
Ive tried not to generalize and Ive tried my best to stay honest, even if it means confessing to some bad sins.
To be perfectly honest its not as dramatic as it looks. It just looks outrageous when written down!

Marital Stress,
Heavy smoking,
Drug and medication abuse, (i.e. Valium, Marijuana, Cocaine)
Relationship crisis,
unhealthy eating habits,
Loud noises,
Lack of exercise,
High cholesterol,
High blood sugar rate,
Personal loss,
Caffeine addiction ( coffee and cola )
Lack of sleep,
Financial Problems,
Overweight,
Business pressures,
Inclination to worry about everything.

So.there we have it.
It looks terrible I know. The worst thing is that I am one of millions who used to live like this. If you cant identify with anything written on this list then you shouldnt have tinnitus. Any one of these elements on their own would be harmful enough for any person.

Combine them and youre left with a time bomb waiting to explode.

So now we have two lists. The first one above describes the symptoms and the second one describes possible causes. If you look carefully at the causes it wont take much imagination to conjure up a “symptom list” like the one above. What else do you expect?.

I dare youTake a pen and paperwrite down your own “bad list”. Be absolutely honest and write down all the things that you arent proud of or maybe would rather forget. Write down all the things you would like to change if you had a magic wand. ( My bad list is there for everyone to see. You can hide yours :o )

By the way, you dont have to have tinnitus to create a list like mine. I would be willing to bet that EVERYONE can come up with a list similar to mine. I say only similar because I know that not everyone is overweight, or smokes or tried drugs.

Think carefully about what you are reading on your list. If you are very honest, you will find that you dont need a magic wand to shorten this list. The only person on this planet that can change this list to something to be proud of is YOU!

After an “auditory crash ” two years ago which left me with a temporary loss of all hearing I had no other choice than to take action.

Ive been looking for an English Term for the German word Hrsturz. In fact this term is made of 2 words.
Hr (to hear ) and Sturz ( to crash ). I find this a fitting term

Anyway this “Auditory Crash” of hearing lasted almost 2 days at the most and thanks to my doctor, I was up and about a week later.
After reading many books and collecting all the information I could find, I decided to take action. I didnt know it then, but the decision to cut out everything that was harming me probably saved my life.

To start out I will go over the ranking of hands this is the same for every form of poker:

1.Straight Flush (5 cards of the same suit in sequential order: Q-J-10-9-8)
2.Four of Kind (4 matching cards: J-J-J-J-7)
3.Full House (3 matching cards and 2 other matching cards: K-K-K-5-5)
4.Flush (any 5 cards all the same suit)
5.Straight (5 cards in sequential order: 9-8-7-6-5)
6.Three of a Kind (3 matching cards: 5-5-5-K-9)
7.Two Pair (2 sets of 2 matching cards: A-A-J-J-3)
8.One Pair (2 match cards: Q-Q-7-5-2)
9.No Pair (Any 5 cards that work into one of the above options: A-Q-J-10-8)

Texas Holdem Poker is a community card game with four rounds of betting. One player acts as the dealer, called the button. The button rotates clockwise each hand. Usually there is a blind system to facilitate the betting. The player to the left of the dealer is the small blind and the next player to the left is the big blind. The small blind is generally one half of the minimum bet for that round and the big blind is the full minimum bet. These two players are the only players who put money into the pot before any cards are dealt.

Each player receives two cards face down these cards are called hole cards. The first round of betting starts with the person to the left of the big blind and continues clockwise. Three community cards are then dealt face up on the table this is called the flop. (The second through fourth rounds of betting starts with the person to the left of dealer who is still in play and continues clockwise.) A fourth community card is dealt face up on the table, called the turn card. Then the third round of betting happens. Finally the fifth community card is dealt face up on the table called the river card. Then the fourth and final round of betting happens.

Players must combine their hole cards with the community cards to make the best possible 5-card poker hand. Players can use either both hole cards, one hole card, or no hole cards in order to make their hand. The player with the best hand takes the pot and then next hand starts with the dealer button moving clockwise each hand. There are two variations to Texas Holdem: Pot Limit and No Limit.

Omaha Poker is a community card game similar to Texas Holdem with four rounds of betting. The main difference is each player is dealt four cards face down rather than two. When you are making your hand at the end of all rounds of betting, you MUST use two and only two hole cards and three community cards (for one 5 card hand). A popular variation to Omaha is Omaha High-Low in which the player who has the highest and the player with the lowest hand (A,2,3,4,5 or close to this) split the pot.

Seven-Card Stud is different than both Texas Holdem and Omaha in many ways. There are no community cards in stud poker, five rounds of betting instead of four, and antes instead of blinds. In stud the players hands determine the order of play as well, instead of a simple clockwise order.

The ante begins the deal, anyone who wants in must pay to the pot. For the first round of betting each player is dealt (one at a time) two cards face down (hole cards) and one card face up (upcard). The player with the LOWEST upcard starts the first round of betting and betting continues clockwise. A fourth card is dealt face up, and the player with HIGHEST upcard starts the second round betting which continues clockwise. Likewise the fifth and sixth cards are dealt face up to start the third and fourth rounds of betting respectively. Again betting for these rounds starts each time with the player with the HIGHEST upcards and continues clockwise. Finally, the seventh and last card is dealt face down, and betting starts with the same player that started the fourth round of betting. Each player makes the best possible five card poker hand using any combination of their seven cards. A popular variation to Seven-Card Stud is Seven-Card Stud High-Low where the players with the best and worst hands split the pot.

In the same way that English has become the international languages, US dollars have become the international currency, although there is no official global currency. In recent years, though, another currency has come to rival the dollar in importance. It is the euro, the new currency created by the European Union countries to act as a common currency within Europe. Although some countries, notably Britain and Sweden, have not yet joined the single currency, it seems likely that all members of the EU (and future members) will join within the next decade or so.

Beyond these two big currencies, though, there are plenty of others. 175 currencies are officially recognised by the United Nations some large and established, some obscure and little-used. In the modern world, though, it is easy to convert whatever currency you use to almost any other by using a currency exchange, such as at a bank or a bureau de change. Although you may need to give them notice to get hold of more unusual currencies, almost all of the currencies of the world should be available to you on the currency markets, although they can be expensive.

How much of one currency you can get for another is measured on the markets using an exchange rate. Its seems like work life balance is an issue with growing importance these days, as more and more parents change the traditional family settings and move into different working patterns, new, unfamiliar problems in balancing work and life rise, and work life balance suddenly becomes an important subject.

So much has changed in our work patterns in the last decade that many people in the western world do not hold on to what was once considered the family values with parents working from home, or splitting work between an office and the home office, family duties, tasks and activities are shifting and changing into a much more flexible and unpredicted setting.

Work life balance is all about managing the time you got with them things you want to do, ask every successful manager and she will tell you that you have time enough to do everything you want to do, as long as you prioritize and fully understand what it is that you want to do in your day. work life balance is about setting limits and truly understanding how much each and every detail in your daily routine is important to you and to your goals.

Two key elements for better Work life balance are prioritizing and delegating. Prioritizing starts by simply understanding that there is way too many things you want to do, and that you can not fit all of them into one day, or some time one week. Work life balance, for many of us, is really about balancing work and family, prioritizing draws a clear picture, sometimes its not a nice one, sometimes you need to give up a lot of your favorite things by prioritizing, but eventually, as your work life balance skills improve you will benefit from this. Prioritizing is the first step to better work life balance because it starts the process of understanding the activities limit on a daily basis.

Delegating work is another work life balance tool, this is something you can use to deal with growing tasks and not having enough time to manage everything. Managing time is the same as tasks management, and both are in fact the basics of work life management, in the daily routine everyone can do a little something for this life balance, family life can improve significantly by better work life balance, and thats exactly why all the members of a family can contribute to it.

One more thought about work life balance, if you think about it unplanned days pass very quickly, the planned ones can move as fast as the unplanned, but in the end of the day you feel more satisfied, and you know what you did. Understanding the time you got available and figuring out what you want to do with it is a great challenge, as with all life work balance challenges, going to bed at night and realizing you have done 90% of what you planned to do, and that your day had the structure of work and family activities you wanted will make you feel good and strong, some even say that it will make you sleep better at night.

Start thinking about work life balance in your life today, balancing work and life is not so hard and it is something most of us need, you will enjoy more quality time with your family and less personal stress if you start thinking about your work life balance. Good luck.
